"I stay heart healthy by taking daily urban hikes through the city with my husband and our lab/pit mix, Houston; walking anywhere from 2 miles to 12 miles in a day!" |

Yuling Chen, PhD, RN
Post Doc Fellow Collaborates with the research team to carry out an array of activities, including research, scholarship, and conference presentations. Learns leadership through research protocols, data management, and analysis; preparation of manuscripts, grant proposals, and conference presentations; and leadership of interdisciplinary research groups to develop, implement, and evaluate theory-driven strategies to reduce cardiovascular health disparities. What do you do to keep your heart healthy? "To keep my heart healthy, I aim to get at least 7 hours of sleep each night!" |

"To keep my heart healthy, I take my HTN medication and have some form of physical activity at least 3 days a week: yoga, dancing, walking, and meditation." |
